There are plenty of servers out there to play in. Most of them have no rules. No point in having an empty server. :toung:

Thats probably for the best... or at least until EA lets us have some more customization options for the server. The only thing they let you do is name it, cant scroll rules or any other type of admin script. And they kick idlers so you cant seed.

It is a fun game, but I have to give EA two thumbs down for client admin options.

imo the multiplayer is pointless unless you're going to snipe or drive a tank. Everyone snipes, and the ones who don't are machine gunners. Choppers blow up if you flick a pebble at them. Unloading a clip into someone doesn't usually kill them, then they turn around fire two shots and kill you. The unlocks are a joke. You have to unlock the vehicle repair tool, the med pack, and the ammo box. The second or third sniper unlock (The green sniper rifle), is terrible. Its accuracy sucks dick no matter how good the game says it is, and its less powerful than the default sniper rifle. This game by no means towers over Battlefield 2 with epicness. realism, graphics, and the ability to completely destroy buildings is the only thing is has over BF2. You cant even fly jets in BC2 for god's sake. And it DOES NOT define online warfare like it claims on the box. If it was aiming to be better than MW2, it succeeded, but being better than MW2 is like trying to prove you're better than a mentally retarded person. It doesnt feel like the previous Battlfields. BF1942/Vietnam/2/2142 had such a wide open playing area and you felt like you had a lot of area to roam around it, you could take what flags you wanted when you wanted, you could base rape all that shit. BC2 is a disgrace to the Battlefield mutiplayer franchise. Once again EA and Dice have proven that they can take something so simple and fuck it up beyond belief. I'm glad I got mine for only 30 bucks, cause if I paid 50 for this game, I would have been extremely pissed. Im gonna keep playing it, but its by no means replacing the previous battlefields for me.

Its a shame though that EA fucked it up so badly for server owners, and that we cant keep ours going. I really thought since we pre-ordered and everything that it would be a big success. I cant believe they dont have an 'auto-kick for inactivity' option.

This game does not compare to bf2 in regards to "ease" of play,but it's a very different game, with very cool graphics and realism.You really need your 5.1 or 7.1 sound or headset, high graphics and powerful processor to enjoy it's full glory.I enjoy playing both games every night when I have time. I'm sure battlefield 3 will be more like bf2 with the graphics of Bad Company 2, I can't wait for that game.:bow:

the needs some serious fixes for it to feel as a bf game, right now it does not feel as one and it kinda repetitive with very few map for conquest and chopper is very weak ( not that is not effective which it is in map such as Atacama dessert it is ) but DICE/EA should either increased the the damage it take to die in the chopper (seriously even with the V armor perk it gets take down too easily) or make the movement sharper, right now it feel like you're flying a blackhawk and even the BH in bf2 has better movement.

BTH: the team i'm playing for in TWL 8vs8 tournament is in the sweet 16 and as of right now we should be able to make it to the last 8 teams with a posibility to go to the semi-finals and then it gets tougher, but it is fun playing competitively, much better than pubbing.
hope you guys dont take me out of the clan since it seems like RA is not going to support this game and i pretty much play for competition.

If you can play BF2 you can play BC2 on medium settings.
My computer isnt epicly amazing, and it runs BC2 on medium graphics fine. I havent tried anything higher though.
