Not A Hacker - Did not appreciate the call out tonight

I was accused / implied of being a hacker tonight, and I REALLY did not appreciate it.

All I know is I applied for commander for China, and while I was waiting for an answer as to whether I would become commander, I was placing AT mines at the entrance to the China uncap. I accepted commander, and was sprinting to my spot when everyone started complaining about Artillery on the carrier at the very start of the round. I had not gone into commander yet.

1) I did not arty the carrier - I would not do that. I think those of you that know me on the server know this.
2) It would have been impossible for me to arty the carrier as I had just accepted the commander role, and everyone knows it takes about 30 seconds before everything but SCAN and UAV are available to use.
3) At least one R|A member - who KNOWS ME on the server, called me out and said it was arty and everyone chimed in and said it had to be a hack as it happened right as the round started.

Later players mentioned it might have been bombs from a jet instead of arty... Pretty sad if you can't tell the difference.

I think R|A members should excercise a little discretion about calling someone out as a hack when they have been playing on the server for quite a while, always plays by the rules, and contributes to the clan's financial needs.

The person who called me out should apologize... I know they are an adult and should know better than to call someone out without any facts, or looking into what really happened.

Also - I'm not talking about Keeb - I know you were kidding later...

Okay I was not there, and since you did not mention a name I can not investigate it until tomorrow, but I have this to say...

Dog, this is a game, take a chill....No disrespect intended but sometimes you take things way to seriously. People call others hackers as a joke all the time...It is a Joke.

If an *R|A* member really thought you were a hacker they would not have mentioned it, and then banned you. The first rule of Admin is to not make the suspect aware you are watching them. You know this I taught it to you.

I didn't mention a name because I do not want to call them out to everyone. They know who they are and they should apologize. End of discussion. AND NO, I won't chill this time. I do not cheat and will not stand for someone seriously talking about me cheating - they were not joking.

Keeb was joking with me about it later to chill me out... I appreciated his efforts... Keeb is a good egg. But I am pissed that someone I have played with for a long time would turn around and even think I would hack. It is lame, and forgive me Chick, but I'm not going to chill about this. I've chilled about a lot... but I will not stand for inferences of hacking or cheating, by anyone - even you.

I don't need you to look into anything for me, but you may want to look into what it was that happened at the start of the round... If it was artillery, it didn't come from me and someone was hacking or there was a glitch from the previous round... it was way too early in the round to be artillery from a standard commander launch.

I am not going to waste time investigating it as I do not think you are a hacker....relax! I hope I can get good enough to even be called a hacker someday, think of it as a compliment!

Sometimes when your own team is taking off in them jets and they drop bombs as they go it can seem like a momentary arty strike but no one dies, that is probably what happened. Yes, people are morons, both the pilots taking off doing that and the people who scream arty.

Listen, I dont wanna be a douche but, if you dont tell us who did it, then everything you wrote to us and brought it to our attention is pointless. Because
A) If you dont tell us we wont do anything about it cause we cant.
and
B) The person who did it probably doesn't give a shit about you cause you're not a clan member so odds are they ain't gonna apologize for calling you one and they're probably sitting back and lol'ing at the rage fit you're having.

I'm not going to call the person out. I'm only interested in: 1) Clearing my name 2) Bringing up the incident in the appropriate forum as a good learning / teaching experience for new members 3) Getting a little respect.

I didn't ask for anyone to do anything, and don't expect you to do anything. However, the clan member in question used to be considered a friend, and I am really put back by their behaviour tonight. I'll let them decide if they want to make things right. This forum category states "the good, the bad, and the ugly" or something to that effect... I thought I was in the appropriate place to post my experience and my feelings about it.

I was not ridiculing you...I seem to remember in MY FIRST post (the one you obviously did not read) that I WAS defending you ( I may have done it in a joking way) but I was still defending you, but you wanted a public inquest for god sake.....YOU also wanted someone to watch the battlerecorder to prove you right....if it so matters to you, go watch it and post the video....I do not think you are a hacker, and never said otherwise so I am not going to waste my time watching a BR to prove something I already know.

Just for your information, since you were playing when Keebler was, if he thought it was serious he would have dealt with it right away....So I was a 99.9% sure when I made the first post that you mis-understood the situation....Keebler is the best at reading situations, and better at swift action, so maybe you did mis-understand.

Hey Dog and thanks for coming to the forums to speak your mind. This is after all the right place to come to and thanks for not making a big deal about it in-game.

I wish I knew if the initial comment made was in jest or seriousness. Given your a regular on our server, I would hope, especially from an R|A member, a comment like that would be in jest because EVERYONE knows I don't put up with UNFOUNDED or FALSE accusations about hacking. Members have been suspended in the past for this and it won't be tolerated. So, again I am going to assume the comment was a joke.

Chick also makes a good point which you should take to heart. You have history on our server and if we thought for a minute you were hacking, we would act. The simple fact is in no way do we feel you hack so your reputation within our clan is intact. We also very much appreciate the fact you donate as this helps keep our servers going.

HOWEVER, I have said this so many time I am getting tired of repeating it. Sometimes what we think is a joke may not be taken as a joke. When something we have said is taking the wrong way or someone gets offended, the respectful thing to do is say your sorry. It's not how you feel but how the other person feels. I don't expect that to happen here in the forums as I see no value in bring additional attention to this, but perhaps in xfire.

Dog, I am sorry this happened and in the future hit either me or chick up on xfire.
